🏢 Business Profile Settings Help Guide

Welcome to your account! Let’s walk through the steps to set up your Business Profile so your system runs smoothly from the start.


🔍 Accessing Business Profile Settings

  1. Navigate to the bottom-left corner of your account.

  2. Click on Settings.

  3. You’ll start in the Business Profile tab.


📋 General Information

Steps:

  • Business Logo: Upload your logo (check for recommended size and format).

  • Friendly Business Name: The public-facing name your clients, leads, and users will see.

  • Legal Business Name: The official name registered with your EIN or equivalent.

  • Business Email & Phone Number: Add your contact details.

  • Branded Domain: This is used for calendar booking links and other public links to match your brand, keeping third-party branding hidden.

  • Business Website: Optional, but enter it if available.

  • Business Niche: Choose from the dropdown list.

✅ Click Update Information to save.


🏛 Business Information

Before applying for A2P registration, complete this section:

  • Business Type: Choose from options like LLC, Partnership, Sole Proprietor, etc.

  • Industry: Pick your category (can match the one selected above).

  • Registration Type: EIN (common for U.S. businesses).

  • Business Registration Number: Or mark as unregistered if you're a sole proprietor.

  • Country/Region: Choose from available options (e.g., USA, Canada).

✅ Click Update Information once complete.


☎️ Call & Voicemail Settings

  • Incoming Call Timeout: Set how long a call rings before it's canceled (e.g., 10–20 seconds recommended).

  • Voicemail Message: Upload an MP3 file for your default voicemail.

✅ Click Save Call Settings.


📍 Business Address & Localization

Fill in your business’s physical location:

  • Street Address

  • City

  • Postal Code

  • State/Province

  • Country

Then choose:

  • Time Zone (used for accurate appointment scheduling)

  • Platform Language

  • Outbound Communication Language

✅ Click Update to apply changes.


👤 Authorized Representative

This is typically the person managing the account and A2P registration.

Fill in:

  • First & Last Name

  • Email Address (must be accessible)

  • Job Title

  • Phone Number (must be able to receive text messages)

✅ Click Update Information when done.


⚙️ General System Options

Duplicate Opportunities:

  • Allows leads with the same name, email, or phone number to exist in the sales pipeline.

Enable only if your business model supports duplicates.

Facebook Contact Merging:

  • Merges contacts from Facebook if names match existing ones.

Understand the impact before enabling.

Contact Time Zone:

  • Automatically adjusts communication based on contact time zone.

Recommended to keep enabled.

Email Bounce Handling:

  • Mark Invalid Emails after a hard bounce

  • Helps protect your sender reputation.

SMS/Email Validation:

  • Verifies phone numbers when sending the first SMS.

  • Verifies email addresses when sending the first email.

Reduces delivery errors and improves sender reputation.


📄 Compliance Settings

These options help ensure legal compliance:

  • Auto-fill SMS Sender Info: Automatically uses your business name from above for compliance.

  • Email & SMS Deduplication Preferences:

    • Avoid duplicate contacts

    • Set prioritization for matching based on email or phone number


📲 Missed Call Text Back

Enable this feature to auto-respond when calls are missed.

Steps:

  • Turn Missed Call Text Back ON

  • Write a Custom Message

  • Send a test text to verify

  • Enter a phone number that receives texts

✅ Click Save Missed Call Text Settings.
