📧 Email Services Help Guide

Welcome to the Email Services section. This guide will walk you through how to set up, create, and utilize a dedicated domain for sending emails through your account.

🔧 Accessing Email Services

  1. Click on Settings (bottom left of your account).

  2. Scroll down to find Email Services.

Upon entering, you may see a prompt to Create a Dedicated Domain—let’s begin there.

🌐 Creating a Dedicated Domain

Click Create Dedicated Domain to get started.

Why Use a Dedicated Domain?

  • Better email deliverability

  • Improved brand recognition

  • Greater control of email performance

Choose Your Subdomain:

Examples:

  • noreply.yourdomain.com

  • mail.yourdomain.com

  • marketing.yourdomain.com

Think about the use case for the domain before finalizing.

Steps:

  1. Enter your chosen domain/subdomain

  2. Click Add and Verify

📁 Verifying Your Domain

You’ll now see two options:

  • Continue (recommended for auto setup)

  • Add Record Manually (for manual DNS entry)

If Using "Continue":

  • Sign in to your DNS provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare)

  • Click Authorize Domain

  • You’ll be redirected to authorize DNS changes

  • Once authorized, return to your account to view record statuses:

    • Verified

    • Not Verified

Click Verify Domain to update statuses.

⚠️ Some records may take time to propagate. If not verified immediately, wait and retry.

🔁 Domain Status & Configuration

Click Back to Dedicated Domains in the top left to manage your domain settings.

Here you’ll see:

  • Domain Record

  • Dedicated Header (applies to all emails sent from this domain)

  • Shared IP (for large-volume use cases)

  • SSL Issue Date

  • DNS Status (still propagating for new domains)

⚙️ Domain Configuration

Click on Domain Configuration at the top.

Here, you can:

  • Assign domains to specific email types:

    • Workflows

    • 1:1 Conversations (e.g., marketing.yourdomain.com)

    • Bulk Sends (e.g., [email protected])

  • Adjust frequency settings for each type

📌 Managing a Domain

From the three-dot menu on your domain box:

  • Set From Name (used in email headers)

  • Delete the domain

  • Re-verify DNS records if needed

📬 SMTP Services

Click Back to SMTP Services to explore email provider options.

Available Features:

  • View SMTP Services and Default Provider

  • Configure Reply & Forward Settings:

    • Set up forwarding addresses (must differ from sending domain)

    • BCC email threads

    • Forward to users in your account

🚫 Forwarding addresses using the same domain as your sender can cause infinite loops—avoid this setup.

Reply Address:

  • Set a default reply email

  • Note: This may affect conversation thread tracking inside your account

📊 Email Analytics

  • Sort metrics by time range

  • Filter by email source

  • Click on individual reports for detailed insights

🔐 Risk Assessment

Track:

  • Email verifications

  • Associated risks

  • Ensure domain credibility and maintain sender reputation

➕ Adding Additional Services

From the SMTP Services section, you can:

  • Add new providers:

    • Outlook

    • Gmail

    • SendGrid

    • Others

  • Add more dedicated domains

✅ Final Verification & Sending Readiness

Once all DNS records are verified, your email system is ready to send.

🔥 Don’t forget:
Begin with a proper email warm-up sequence to build sender reputation.

🛡️ DMARC Record (Optional, But Recommended)

A DMARC record will appear as optional—you should still add it to your DNS records for enhanced domain authentication and email protection.
