Launching an Email Campaign

📧 Email Campaign Help Guide

Let’s walk through how to launch an email campaign using your account’s built-in tools.


🆕 Creating a New Email Campaign

  1. Go to the Email section of your account.

  2. Click the New button.

  3. You'll be presented with any saved templates. If none exist, select Blank Template to get started.


🎨 Choose Your Editor

When starting from a blank template, you’ll have three editor options:

  • Design Editor (Recommended)

  • Code Editor

  • Plain Text Editor

Using the Design Editor:

Once loaded, the design editor will present pre-built sections:

  • Text Block (with link option)

  • Title Block

  • A “View in Browser” link (recommended to keep)


➕ Adding & Editing Elements

Click the plus (+) icon in the upper left-hand corner to open available elements.

📝 Text:

  • Drag and drop into your layout

  • Use the top navigation bar to format:

    • Heading type, font, size, color

    • Bold, italic, underline

    • Add links, bullet points, custom values, trigger links

    • Leverage built-in AI tools

🖼 Images:

  • Drag into your email

  • Resize via handles or settings panel

  • Click Edit to upload/select from your Media Library

  • Customize:

    • Alt text

    • Link

    • Alignment

    • Padding (e.g., set left padding to 40px to shift right)

🔘 Button:

  • Drag and drop into layout

  • Customize text, font, size, link, and appearance

🔧 Other Available Elements:

  • Logo

  • Divider

  • Social Icons

  • Footer

  • Video

  • Custom Code

  • Shopping Cart

  • RSS Feed/Items

  • Image Slider


🧱 Using Layouts

At the bottom of the elements panel, you'll find Layouts.

  • Drag and drop layout blocks (e.g., 4-column layout)

  • Drop other elements into individual columns

Manage Elements:

Click Manage Elements in the top nav:

  • View all columns and their contents

  • Toggle elements for Desktop or Mobile display


🎨 Appearance Settings

Click the Appearance tab to customize overall email styling:

  • Set Template Background Image/Color

  • Adjust Body Background Color

  • Customize Button Styling

  • Style Dividers

  • Add Custom CSS

  • Configure Mobile Formatting (e.g., heading sizes)

  • Set Link Styling


🔀 A/B Testing

Enable A/B Testing from the top navigation:

  • Test variables:

    • Subject Line

    • Email Content

  • Configure:

    • Duration

    • Variations

    • Test Size

    • Winning Criteria (e.g., open or click rate)


💾 Saved Items

Access saved sections under Saved Items:

  • Hover over a section in your builder

  • Click Save

  • Reuse by dragging from saved items to your email


🛠 Additional Builder Features

At the top of your builder:

  • Rename your campaign

  • Click Save

  • Click More (⋮) to:

    • Send Test Email

    • Preview Template

    • View Version History

    • Attach Files

  • Use Undo/Redo options as needed


🚀 Sending or Scheduling Your Campaign

Click Send or Schedule to open the final configuration page.

Option 1: Send Now

Fill out:

  • Sender Email (must be verified in Email Settings)

  • Reply-to Email (optional)

  • Sender Name

  • Subject Line

  • Preview Text

  • Recipient Group: Choose all contacts, smart lists, or tagged contacts

  • UTM Tracking: Enable to track campaign analytics

Option 2: Schedule

Choose:

  • Send Date & Time

  • Same sender and content settings as above

Option 3: Batch Schedule

Send emails in batches (e.g., 25 or 50 at a time) to:

  • Monitor email delivery

  • Warm up new sender addresses

Option 4: RSS Schedule

Automate emails triggered by new posts in an RSS Feed.


✉️ Send Test Email

Before sending your campaign:

  • Click Send Test Email

  • Choose test details to ensure everything looks right

Once ready, choose:

  • Save for Later

  • Send Now

  • Schedule
